May 08, 2005 - 12:00 p.m.

What a gorgeous day. I believe it's the best day so far this year. And Mother's Day too! We are giginh Mum some dishes for mother's day. I bet you she doesnt even know we are giving her anything because we havent mentioned it at all, lol. We are so freakin' sly.

I went to Toronto yesterday. I got there too early for the college presentation but it is better to be too early than too late. So I ate thier free muffins. Then me and my brother watched a presentation on Financial Aid, and went to their lovely shiny new lecture hall for a presentation about making the transition to college. Then we took a tour of the campus. The campus isnt large and spread out like the one I have previously went to. Instead, it's smaller and consists of 4 floors. Maybe it's just as big, only stacked. I liked it in any case. It's impossibly to get lost in, and the cafeterias and lounges are very comfortable. They have a prayer room even. I thought that was thoughful. It was built last year so the building still smells new and looks unvandalized. For a year in Toronto it's darn spectacular that it went unmolested that long.

The drive home was a tad crazy. The traffic backed up but I kept a level head.

Snake: Good. A level head is exactly what a soldier needs.

Snake, Im not going to college to be a soldier! ....Can you go to college to be a soldier?

Luke: I dont think so...you go to boot camp and they have a classroom there to teach you not to shoot the radio man.

You've been watching me play Star Wars Battlefront, havent you?

Luke: Why are you always Imperial? And why do you always throw grenades at me?

It's all Thermo Detenator Baseball. You like it!

Luke: No I dont!

I thought you said you did....In any case, stop chasing me around and cutting me down..

"Shit, he wants to live in Rez?? Christ.." - Me, talking about an annoying guy who is in the Paramedic program. When the medics found out how much they had to lift to pass the course they went very pale. I was sure to talk about it loudly but they didnt hear me. They'll find out it isnt easy soon enough.

Do a chin up, medics,

Lara
